Strikeforce releases Paul Daley

Paul Daley, the British fighter notoriously known for sucker punching Koscheck post-fight during their title eliminator at UFC113, has been released from Strikeforce. According to Daley’s camp he asked for the release citing Strikeforce’s inability to provide him fights on a regular basis. I guess fighting under their banner three times in one year with a contract that allowed him to fight for BAMMA and Ringside-MMA wasn’t enough. Daley scoffs at 5 fights a year he wants fights every day. If he took that mentality into training maybe he wouldn’t 2-3 in his last 5 right now. Either way, Paul Daley has left Strikeforce behind and with a move to the UFC highly improbable one could only assume he is Bellator bound. When he gets there maybe he can trade MMA war stories with Brett Rogers about a time when they were both relevant. Cheers!
