Well that didn't take long. Bellator continues to aggressively sign free agents to its
talent pool. After picking up the likes of King Mo and Brett Rogers, it was
announced today that the organization has signed recently released Paul Daley.
Since his welterweight title match with former Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz
last April, Semtex has hit a rough patch in his career going 2-3 in his last
five outings. With his recent signing he is now set to enter the Bellator
welterweight tournament and compete for a shot against reigning champion Ben
Askren. No word yet on when Daley will make his BFC debut, but perhaps signing
with the organization is just what he needs to refocus and revive his MMA
career.
**Daley's debut is now set for Bellator 72 on July 20th
