Stout/Fisher 3, Surprisingly Amazing

When Stout/Fisher 3 was first announced I nothing-ed it. I didn’t understand why we needed to turn this into a trilogy. I still don’t understand what the reasoning was behind this fight, or its co-main event status, but let me you something, I’m glad it happened. To echo Ken-Flo cage side, this was the best looking Spencer Fisher we have seen a long, long time. Fisher and Stout stood toe-to-toe for three rounds, and by the end I was wishing we had three more. In the end however it was Stout who got his hand raised. I don’t agree that the contest was scored 30-27 across the board, but I do think Stout won that fight. I expect Fisher will stick to his words and retire shortly and Sam Stout will continue to evolve as a fight. As far as a possible title run for the Canadian, doubtful.
